Dr. Emma Corbilla, founder and Resident Care Manager of Naturopathic Home Care, has over 18 years of experience in health care. She began her career as a registered nurse in 1991 in rehabilitation and occupational therapy. She underwent advanced training and is certified in emergency and trauma medicine, as well as, critical care nursing. She is an active member of the Emergency Nurses Association. From 1992 to 1997, she proudly served her country as a U.S. Naval Nurse Officer where she specialized in acute care. In 2003, she graduated from Bastyr University with a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine. Dr. Corbilla is a licensed physician in the State of Washington and is board certified in Naturopathic Medicine. As a physician she has focused her training in Dementia, Alzheimer’s and Mental Health. She is fully certified to cultivate medicinal mushrooms and has considerable experience growing the essential four varieties: Shitake, Lion’s Mane, Reishi and Maitake. Emma loves nature and seeks to live life simply but with rich experiences. Her interests are varied and include the visual and performing arts, mountain biking and hiking, and, of course, maintaining her gardens. The warmth and support of her family and friends is what she most values in life. | |
